Adler Blanchard’s Valuable Team Members

<strong>Carl H. Blanchard </strong>
Carl H. Blanchard CPA, CVA, Partner

Carl Blanchard has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Carl has experience with all aspects of income taxation and financial reporting. Carl is also accredited as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) with expertise in providing business valuation services to clients in a wide variety of industries.

In addition to his professional commitments Carl is active in his community. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce and sits on the Finance Committee for Facing History Facing Ourselves. Carl is also a Trustee of Gann Academy and currently is a member of the finance and audit committees after serving as the school’s Treasurer for 10 years.

When not at work he can be found working on his golf game or cheering on the local sports teams.


 <strong>Irving L. Adler</strong>
Irving L. Adler CPA, MST, Partner

Irving is a founding partner of Adler Blanchard & Associates LLP and has more than 40 years experience in public accounting. Irving has worked with clients in a variety of industries, specializing in construction, real estate, jewelry, restaurant and manufacturing as well as providing personalized accounting and tax services to highly compensated individuals.

Irving believes that what separates AB&A from other firms “are the outstanding relationships we have developed with an outstanding group of clients.”

Irving and his wife Wayne have raised three grown children, two sons and a daughter and have five grandchildren. When not at the firm Irving can be found at his other office, the golf course. He’s always said he never wanted to be the richest accountant but the happiest – we think he’s been pretty successful on both accounts.


 <strong>Scott J. Adler</strong>
Scott J. Adler Partner

Scott has over 25 years experience in public accounting. After graduating from Tulane University it wasn’t long before Scott joined the firm, learning about business, accounting and client relationships from his father, Irving.

At AB&A, Scott has worked with start-up, rapidly growing and established companies. His specialized services focus on real estate, construction, restaurants and wealth management.

In additional to his work at the firm Scott serves as Treasurer of the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund.

Scott and his wife Susan have two teenage sons. When not in the office he can be found cheering on his kids at their various sporting events or beating the other partners at golf.


 <strong>David M. Wexler</strong>
David M. Wexler CPA

David was a founding partner of Wexler and Associates, PC which merged with AB&A in January 2014. He brings with him over 45 years of public accounting experience. His client background includes a variety of businesses and professional firms with an emphasis onarchitects and engineers, law firms, insurance agencies, nursing homes, retail, distributors and manufacturing companies. He specializes in the tax, business, and interpersonal aspects related to mergers & acquisitions, partner relations, incentive compensation, buy-sell agreements, and the ownership transition of professional service firms. He also provides strategic services to attract funding, such as business plan and projection preparation, assistance in locating funding, and the review of financial or operational systems and procedures.

David’s public accounting experience began with Tofias, Fleishman, Shapiro & Co. P.C. (1969-1998). During his tenure with the firm, he was a senior partner, the Chief Financial Officer for more than 20 years, and was a member of the firm’s executive committee.

David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hartford and holds an honorary Masters in Architecture Degree from the Boston Architectural College.
